Mechanic Consumer Electronics & Appliances (MCEA) is a skilled trade offered under the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) that prepares trainees to install, maintain, diagnose, and repair a wide range of consumer electronic products and household appliances. The course combines theoretical knowledge with practical hands-on training, enabling students to work in the rapidly growing electronics and home appliance service industry.
Completing this certified vocational course opens doors across public sector undertakings, private industries, self-employment, and National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) opportunities.
Examinations & National Trade Certification (NTC) conducted under NCVT (Directorate General of Training — DGT).
Eligible for Indian Railways, Power Grid, State Electricity Departments, PWD, and Defense Workshops.
Qualify for 1-year paid apprenticeship training under NAPS with government monthly stipend support.
