The Draughtsman (Civil) trade is a technical vocational course that equips trainees with the knowledge and practical skills required to prepare detailed drawings and plans for civil engineering and construction projects. The trade focuses on creating accurate architectural and structural drawings using both traditional drafting techniques and modern Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
Completing this certified vocational course opens doors across public sector undertakings, private industries, self-employment, and National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) opportunities.
Examinations & National Trade Certification (NTC) conducted under NCVT (Directorate General of Training — DGT).
Eligible for Indian Railways, Power Grid, State Electricity Departments, PWD, and Defense Workshops.
Qualify for 1-year paid apprenticeship training under NAPS with government monthly stipend support.
